You may be aware that Saab Automobile and Saab Great Britain Limited entered administration just before Christmas. This followed a period of uncertainty resulting from cash flow problems, which halted new vehicle production in the middle of last year. There remains considerable interest from various potential buyers and we await the outcome of their negotiations with the Administrators, in the hope that the business will restart under new ownership.

Our company has represented the Saab brand for nearly 40 years and this news has obviously come as a huge disappointment. Whilst there remains some hope that a buyer will be found to continue the Saab operation, I wanted to update you on the latest position and confirm our company's plans for the future.

As a family owned company who have traded for over 60 years, we are financially secure and will continue trading at both our Thornaby and York sites. We very much intend continuing our Saab operation and this will run alongside the existing Alfa Romeo and Nissan franchises we have operated in more recent years.

As such, we are pleased to inform you that we intend to continue to service and repair all Saabs, provide genuine parts and carry out bodyshop repairs for accident damage. We offer this service with the same level of expertise from our enthusiastic team of technicians, partsmen and service advisors.

We greatly appreciate your custom and very much hope you will continue to use our services. To encourage this we have developed a range of Saab service schedules to help meet your vehicles requirements and your budget, resulting in us being able to offer Saab services from as little as £125.

In addition we will also continue the sale of the remaining unregistered Saabs, as well as used Saabs. As a consequence of Saab's administration, there are fantastic opportunities to pick up a bargain, knowing we will continue to offer After Sales support and service.
